Grace Y. Bradley, age 97, formerly of Oreland, PA passed away peacefully at home on February 22. She was born in Philadelphia and was the youngest of three children of Katharine and Charles Young. She was the loving wife of Allen Bradley for 73 years. As a child, Grace attended Sunday School at Oak Lane Presbyterian Church where she joined and remained a committed member for 83 years serving as a Deacon, among other roles, for many of those years. Her Oak Lane family had remained a treasure in her life. She attended Lowell Elementary School and graduated from Olney High School in 1945. Grace and Allen met in 1948 when they worked together at First Pennsylvania Bank. They were married in 1950 at Oak Lane Presbyterian Church. They moved to Oreland in 1955 and raised their 4 children where she was the neighborhood driver and 2nd mom to many. Grace worked for many years as the Office Assistant for a podiatrist but retired when she needed to care for several family members in their later years. After Allen’s retirement, they purchased a summer home in Ocean City, NJ where they enjoyed 25 summers on the bay with family and friends. In 2003 they moved into Ann’s Choice. They were honored to be ribbon cutters as they were pioneers being one of the first to move in. Through the years she was involved with Helping Hands, Interfaith Council, weekly Bible study, volunteering with residents at the Rose Garden, and more.
